The 2025 Nittany Valley Half-Marathon will be on Sunday, December 7th in State College, Pennsylvania!
Half Marathon Course

The 13.1 mile course begins & ends on the Penn State campus, touring through rolling countryside, along scenic Spring Creek and through quaint Houserville. Course: Race day headquarters, parking and the start and finish line are at the Snider Ag Arena. The race will begin at 10 AM. You will be chip timed so your overall time will be calculated based on when you start. We have a detailed course map with elevation profile HERE. The course will be well-marked with signage and volunteers. Past participants, please look over the map, as the course has a few changes from previous years. In the event there is snow on the ground, we will use a slightly different route. HERE is the alternative detailed course map with elevation profile. Please note that we ask runners to park at the fields behind the Ag Arena. Time Limit: Runners must reach the entrance to Stearns Crossing by 12:30. The course will be closed at 2:00 pm. Traffic: Most of the course is open to traffic; therefore, you must follow applicable Pennsylvania highway laws (please keep to the shoulder, be attentive to other road users, etc.).
For the safety of all of our runners, bicycles (with the exception of approved volunteers helping with the course), skateboards, strollers/baby joggers, roller skates or inline skates, animals, and personal music players are not permitted on the course. Water Stops Locations:
